About Me

My name is Tim Moore. I was born and raised in Down East Maine.

I am a seasoned software engineer and beginner security engineer. My goal is to have a DevSecOps-style role. I currently work at Wirecutter. I was previously at Automattic and the University of Maine.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature. As part of this, I studied linguistics, technical writing, and creative writing.

I am currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity.

I have ADHD, which means I have many hobbies and interests, including:

• Reading. On average, I read 100 books a year.
• Writing.
• Sewing.
• Woodworking.
• Information security and cyber security.
• Learning new programming languages.
